Recently we have received reports of vehicle-related crime in Great Harwood.

We would like to remind all residents to take a few simple steps to help keep your vehicles safe.

Please ensure, 

1 Your vehicle is locked at all times, even when you are parked outside your own home.

2 No valuables are left on display inside the vehicle.

3 Keys are kept out of sight and away from doors and windows.

4 if your vehicle is keyless entry, consider using a signal-blocking pouch for your keys.

5 Any suspicious activity around vehicles is reported to the police.

If you see anyone acting suspiciously around parked cars, please report it by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency.
